Akribos XXIV Watches produces an accurate and sturdy timepiece. Only the best mechanisms and materials are used to form these quality models. Many models offer stainless steel cases and luminescent faces or hands. Leather and stainless steel are featured materials in many of the bands as well as durable rubber. Some options are water resistant up to 330 feet. Movements may be mechanical or automatic quartz. These products are accurate and dependable as well as beautiful.
The beautiful styling of the Akribos XXIV watch is where this brand genuinely shines brightest. Much of the collection consists of slightly oversized, statement pieces. Fashion forward models range in looks from the sporty and rugged chronographs to the elegant skeleton cases. Finish choices abound with metal finishes of gold tone, steel and rose gold tone. Chronograph faces come in a spectrum of colors including trendy hues like yellow and orange. They may have multiple faces showing functions like time and date. The more formal options feature display backs so that you can see the fine craftsmanship of the inner works. Some models are quite unusual, showcasing retro touches along with futuristic finishes in the same face. The arresting combination is eye-catching on the wrist.

B/S! B/S! B/S! Akribos watches suck. Don't bother with them. They are made in china and just flat out suck. Save your time and money and stay away from this manufacturer!
ReplyDeleteNot true. I have found them excellent watches and comparable to watches about $100 to $200 more.
ReplyDeleteIS True! Maybe Disgruntled should have called them "junque" to respect the pretentious ads from this division of the real junk merchant, "Stuhrling".
ReplyDeleteI received a a Mens Saturnos Skeleton automatic gold round watch model AK410SS for Christmas 2011. It looks beautiful, but unfortunately it has a design flaw such that the minute hand often stops. In fact the first day I was winding it, it was stopping before I even put it on. The reviews over at Amazon have more info, apparently this is a common problem with these types of Akribos watches. Someone had researched that the watches are actually assembled in Hong Kong not Switzerland. I really wish this watch worked, but keeping accurate time is more important to me than something that looks nice.
